Certified scales
Certified Vehicle Weighing
The DMV will not finish a commercial registration without a weight certificate, and CHP will not overlook an overloaded axle. We put your vehicle on a certified scale, capture the numbers, and hand you the document that satisfies the requirement.
What this covers
- DMV unladen weight certificates
- Gross and axle-by-axle weight readings
- Commercial trucks, trailers, RVs, and buses
- Certificates printed on the spot
- Pre-trip overload checks before you hit the scales
Most weigh-ins take under 20 minutes, certificate included.

Registration weight certificates
New commercial registrations, weight-class changes, and out-of-state transfers all hinge on a certified unladen weight. We record the reading and issue a certified weight certificate for your registration paperwork.
Axle and gross weight verification
Legal on the gross and still illegal on a single axle is the most common way a load gets cited. We break the reading out axle by axle so you can shift the load in our yard instead of on the shoulder of Highway 99.
Fleet and repeat weighing
Running several trucks or re-weighing after a body build, tank, or lift install? Bring them through together and we will keep the documentation consistent across the fleet.
Not sure this is the certificate you need?

Before the state scale
Check your split before the CHP does
Legal on the gross and over on one axle is the citation nobody sees coming. Pick your rig, drag the load, and watch where the weight lands — then pull in and we'll weigh every axle group on a certified scale and print the ticket.

Ready for the scale.
Legal on the gross and still over on one tandem is the most common way a load gets cited. Slide the pallet and watch the split. Figures are estimates using typical tare weights — fuel, equipment, and load shape change the real split. Pull in and we weigh each axle group and print the ticket.
